As part of Popular Mechanics’ ongoing Made Here series, I edited this episode spotlighting Japan’s “fake food” industry and the artisans who bring it to life. My work included shaping the narrative through pacing, visual flow, and sound design, as well as translating all Japanese dialogue into English to ensure cultural and linguistic authenticity. The final piece blends cinematic storytelling with accurate, accessible translation, offering viewers an immersive look into craftsmanship rarely seen outside Japan.
